Text of the call
Invitation
The Foundation invites applications for one Accountable Node place and ten validator places on the Streembit network. These are the only places in the genesis producer and validator sets. No place is reserved for any applicant, and the order of receipt confers no priority.
Genesis proceeds only when at least one Accountable Node and two validators have been admitted through this call and have passed readiness. If this call does not produce the required participants, the window is extended through the same channels and genesis is postponed.
Eligibility
Accountable Node applicants must meet the requirements in the section How to become an Accountable Node of the Protocol Specification. Validator applicants must meet the requirements in the section Validator Requirements.
- Accountable Node: a registered corporation or limited liability company in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Japan or Australia, with at least USD 5,000,000 in verifiable assets supported by audited financial statements and publicly identified officers.
- Validator: a verified individual or legal entity in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Japan, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Singapore or New Zealand, one validator per beneficial owner.
- Neither role requires an upfront SBRIT deposit.
- Blacklisted participants are ineligible.
Disclosures
Every applicant declares any ownership, control, employment or family relationship with the Foundation or its officers. The declaration is published with the results and must be kept current. An admission obtained on a false or incomplete declaration is withdrawn under the enforcement rules.
Results
Within 24 hours of the close of selection the Foundation publishes on this page the number of applications received, verified and admitted; the draw seed, its source and the method if a draw was used; the admitted Accountable Node by registered name, jurisdiction and beneficial owners holding 25% or more; the admitted validators by validator ID with affiliation flags; the length of the waiting list; the reasons for refusals in summary form; and the publication record.
